ya i made 8-4. the first screen is ridiculous there.
anyway, i guess most of you already know this but if you hit the flagpole at the end of each level at the right time you will get an extra man. to do so your coins need to be a multiple of 11, ie 11 33 55 00. then you need to hit the flagpole when the last timer digit matches the last coin digit, ie 55 coins and 235 "seconds". pretty ridiculous but without those lives theres no way id beat any level past world 4.
