Has he kept firing at a similar pot? Your check/calling is pretty indicative of a draw, but he doesn't know what one. Could be str8, clubs,or spades.

The interesting hand that nobody has really mentioned yet, but which was the hand that I'm pretty sure he put me on given the action to the river and after it, is me having flopped top 2 pair, or a set, etc.. Given his style of play, I really think that he may have absolute air in this spot and just be betting thinking that he knows what hand I am on...
A block-bet to induce a bluff is definitely a reasonable play in this spot too.
What hand do you all put him on? His range is extraoridnarily high here...
