I'm also a 33 yr old Canuck. I think we're among the granddads here, I'd guesstimate the average age at about 24ish.
As for posters to look out for, most of the forums have many sharp minds floating around. There are so many niche specialists here it's hard to single any out without knowing your area of interest. I will say that if you're surfing the no-limit forums here, keep an eye out for Pokey's posts. His work stands head and shoulders above the crowd.

Edit: Also, most forums have a FAQ or master sticky pinned to the top of the forum. There's a lot of gold in them there stickys. Also, if you find a poster you would like to read more from, you can click on their name and can select "show all user's posts".
