I think the whole notion of the 'hints' system is kinda stupid. Men are expected to have to develop leet Sherlock Holmes-style deductive skills w/ re: to female words / behavior, and we just take it for granted that that's somehow reasonable. On the other hand, this is probably fair payback for something, somehow, and really I almost certainly bitch about it just b/c I suck at it.
