It has to do with trying to win games/make the playoffs this year. It has to do with winning games/making the playoffs every year. Zero teams quit after week 4, which is exactly what benching Chad would be.

Brett makes an excellent point.
The team needs to gut it out and find a way to win. Whether the special teams makes a big play or winning the battle of turnovers. Just find a way to win the game or put the team in a position to win the game.
Chad gives this team the best chance at winning. Clemens will have his day.
The team needs to focus on the Giants and their defense right now. Chad will need to exploit the Giants porous secondary.
Look for a lot of slants and screen plays. Quick out.
