Whenever I've played Omaha 8/b in a casino almost all the dealers have dreaded coming to the table. It's just a confusing game for a lot of them to wrap their minds around. Often players can be quicker at reading the hands than the dealer. My suggestion is to help out the dealer and realize they're hopefully trying their best to figure out the hands.
With all that said -- protect your hand at all cost. Dealer doesn't touch it until the pot is pushed. There's plenty of time while the dealer is chopping the pot to correct any errors.
