Default Re: Slightly lost with oesd in 3-bet pot

i want to hear how you react to a shove which is pretty likely given his tight range

[/ QUOTE ]

well if you bet and he shoves you can look at the situation like this:

I have 6-high.
My oesd gives me roughly 2-1 odds to win the pot.
I'm not getting 2-1 on the call.
I fold.

Simple really?

Betting enough to commit to call a push is kinda meh because well we have 6-high and not even close to like 50% equity so if the money is going in its always going in really bad. And I wouldn't call a 34x flop gin for 56 really.
An occasional non-committing bet is really good because we are never actually getting bluffed here because we have 6-high and it gives the opponent a chance to make a c/c with something silly and we can actually play poker on turn and river too.

cliff notes: "WOWWOWWOW WE FLOPPED A DRAW ARRRR INN!" is a no-no.

edit: bet 65$-3bet is v sexy too if he makes a raise that gives room for it. (doesn't make it over 200$) He will def fold a lot if he raises and has like 200$ left after.
