Fool! I'm an atheist.....quoting bible verses to persuade me is no more effective than quoting from Grimms' Book of Fairy to persuade me. The people that wrote the bible were not experts in foreign policy. The people that chose which books would be included in the bible and which would be excluded were not experts in foreign policy either...
And the Iranians are NOT our brothers. They are our enemies. They are Philistines which need to be smited in an Old Testament like manner... If you like, think of the USA as God's sword on earth ready to deliver divine justice on the wickedness of the Iranian people. Think of it as our divine destiny to carry out the Lord's work making the world a better place by smiting the Terror Masters in Tehran.....
