Goalkeeping isn't only about making saves. Being athletic and having instincts on the ball are obviously important, but the position is so much more mental. You are essentially the commander on the field, able to see everything in front of you. Most of the time, you come out of a game mentally drained. Setting up your defense, reacting to opposing tactics, etc.
I have no idea how Solo compares to Scurry in these regards, though.
