While Spector has a long history of pulling guns on women, there are no witnesses. The defense had a lot of testimony that she had been depressed. They found the fingernail that the cops missed (well done, LAPD!), which might have been the physical evidence needed to convict. There was gunpowder residue on her hand.
This can't be pinned on the jury. LAPD [censored] up yet again.
