Let's say the only way for villain to pay me off is if he has an ace. Probably he has AT, A9, A8, A7, A6, A5, A4, A3 or A2. With other hands, he is probably reraising preflop. This is 9 combinations. I can beat 6 of them. And against a solid villain, I can discount A2, A4, A5, A6, A7. At the end I find that the only way I am getting called is if he has AT or has me beat. It would be different if the straight didn't come. That way I could get called by those dry aces.

Or maybe I am just thinking too much.
