Looks like the direct train rides come out cheaper than buying a pass, I'm not sure about the rome to paris flight vs. train..believe the train is around 14 hours, flight obviously much less time but you have to deal with the airport. I could take a day away from Florence and add it to Rome. Can Venice be done in less than 2 days? As for Paris hopefully 3 days is enough to see a little of it. I know London and Paris are expensive so trying to cut down on the number of nights there.
I figured that the total cost was reasonable for two adults for a month of travel..looking at hostel costs seems to be about $70-100us per night and then food on top of that. Do you think $150 a night is too much/too little?
