Default NL400: Playing AK too passively?

This was a hand against one of the main regulars that I battle with everyday. He's rather nitty 17/13/1.9.
The first raiser is a fish.

Postflop, I decided that a raise on the flop or a bet on the turn was just likely to scare off most hands and there has to be very few cards I'm afraid of. Do you play it any differently?

He insta-bet the river...and this bothered me.
