You don't need a reason. Just say you would like to return it. All they will ask is something like "Is there a problem with the unit?" Just say no, it works fine I just want to return it. They will take it back no questions asked.

I never understand why people feel the need to make up some elaborate story to return something. Just take up to the front desk, and say you want to return it. As long as it is within the 14 days or 30 days or whatever their return policy that is printed on the back of the receipt is, they will take it back no questions asked, no excuse needed.

An obivous exception to this already opened software/games. Hardware does not have the same restrictions.
