If you call and c/r the turn, your facing two big problems. a) turn check through and b)your play looks like a big hand. You don't want him making any hero folds with tp or a mid-PP.

If 3-betted on the flop and you just call, do you ever donk the turn? My guess is villain will either call down or raise and both option will give at least 2 more BBs plus no worries about a check through or a hero fold.
