I have never understood how people think Gold is a jerk. I think Gold more than anyone knew how lucky he was getting and couldn't believe it himself. There was one hand (he got a straight flush), and he said it didn't matter how good or bad a player you are; if you get big hands, you will win. People kept saying he was arrogent to say that. How is that arrogent? It's the truth. I know that if I play at a table w/ Phil Ivey long enough, he's taking my money. But I also know that if I get a straight flush on the river and Ivey flops quads, I'm probably doubling up. It doesn't mean I'm better. If that makes me a douchebag, oh well!
