This happened to me a couple days ago as well.

Huge gigantous multi-way pot. In this game the max bet is $200. Guy on my left says "all-in" and gets called by a bunch of shorter stacks. I've got a really weak draw, might be drawing dead even, but I'm getting absurd odds. I cover the big stack easily. I ask the dealer if he's all in.

"Yes."
"Its not a $200 bet, its all in?"
"Yes. He's all in."
"Ok, I call."

Dealer puts out the turn and waits. Points at me and says "your action."

"There's no more action."
"He's got more chips, there's still action"

At that moment I could have stabbed the dealer. He looked at me like I was being ridiculous.

ITS YOUR JOB TO COUNT THE BETS. I ASKED TWICE.
