Also, while I usually raise 2.5X from UTG-Button, I always raise the full 3x from the SB. Don't know if other people do this or not, but I think its probably a lot better for numerous reasons.

Agreed. Especially with ante's. In this hand bb is getting > 3/1, making calling with any 2 in position +ev.
