i agree about being more passive in small pots and it's something i've been adding to my game recently. however, in this case, sb is donking with so much crap that this raise is for value.

i believe raising does this while either protecting our (good but vulnerable) hand or getting our opponents to make a double-sized mistake to keep drawing.

but i'd like to hear more about the virtues of calling.
