In a 3bet pot this is an easy fold. Here, much closer. I think he could very well be drawing dead now and consider betting turn. Either you are drawing dead or he is. Hard to say. Since OOP c/f is probably the best play. I can see a case for betting though. If we have positon here and he checks again... I bet for value but it's thin-ish.
