seriously, wtf's the deal with acetaminophen? it's like the government and the pillmakers decided "okay, this is the least effective pain reliever, and the worst for you, so... we'll make it over-the-counter. and hydrocodone is pretty good, so we'll make it prescription. and then the really effective stuff, we'll just make illegal!" pumping cheap crap for profit and not actually really relieving anyone's pain.

In blind studies acetaminophen is actually a quite effective pain reliever. And it's not the worst for you - actually the exact opposite - taken in correct doses has many many less side effects and reactions than other meds like NSAIDS and opiates do.

LOL at the rest of the post. Yeah, it's all a conspiracy theory to sell more acetaminphen, which costs <5 cents a dose and is made by many companies.
