A long time ago I was in the hospital for a hole in my lung and when I was given pills I would pop them in my mouth but not swallow them. Then when the nurse left I spit out the pill and saved it for later. Had a good stash by the time I was released.

Do painkillers usually keep you awake? If I take too many I get sleepy.
