I have found that there are big jumps in skill now at the levels on Stars. It used to be that all games 2/4 and below were relatively similar, but I find that as you go from 0.25/0.5 to 2/4 you see big jumps in game toughness now.
I would say 0.25/0.5 and below is about how the old games play with lots of loose passives and spewy LAGS.
0.5/1 has a few thinking players and some more clueless TAGs and LAGs, but is still pretty soft in general.
1/2 is where I notice the games start to fill with more TAGs and 28/18/2 types. I have to start actually table selecting there.
2/4 seems actually decently tough now. I think table selection is important from here on up and sometimes there will be no good games going.
