By not betting closer to the pot on the flop you're both giving flushes better odds to draw, and not extracting as much as possible from those who either don't believe your cbet, or who have a worse Q.

Once called, you need to bet the turn. This isn't a good spot to practice pot control - there's a draw out that is well within his range. Sure, he might have a set, or he might have QJ, but they aren't more likely than a flush draw, a worse Q, or a PP. Bet 2/3 pot on the turn. If you get raised, reevaluate according to his tendencies (which you haven't included - they're important in deciding what to do on the river, given how you played).

As played, you beat KQ, QJ, and air on the river. Is he the sort of player likely to bet the river because it's a scare card for you? Is he the sort to bet even when he can only expect a call from a hand that beats him? You made this look very like a cbet from a hand that missed. Anyone aggressive or tricky is likely to bet, and you have to call them despite only getting 2.5:1. Classic example of how small mistakes on early streets can cause big mistakes on later ones.
