I think they generally get around 150 entries. It's been a long time, but I think they tend to run four hours or so. Yes, the payouts are top heavy.
These aren't worth entering regularly if your intention is to show a profit. Though playing them occasionaly can make for a relaxing few hours playing against generally terrible opponents.
