I love the idea that the minimum buy in is 100BB. 50BB actually annoys me more than 20BB. Against those 20BB, you just find a hand preflop like AT and gamble with them. 50BB guys are usually nits who only play AA, then I find like TT and say: It's just 50BB and call and I am always taking the worst of it.
Fishes want to play higher stakes because it is exciting, I assume. They want to brag (I am always surprised at how fishes think, so this is just an assumption). So, instead of risking one fifth of their bankroll in one time, buying in for 20BB, now they are gonna risk their whole bankroll, buying in for 100BB. Even better, right?
I love this idea.
