My parents have above average jobs(probably about average for people with university degrees), and are good at saving money, but are certainly far from rich, and because they save everything, they seem poorer than most people with equivalent salaries and worse spending habbits. I've never used my parents money to gamble, and the initial $100 I put online through their credit card, I payed them cash before I made a desposit.
