i agree.. definitely worth talking about. like clearly time since disaster plays a factor, but how much of one? and when is the cutoff? you woudln't post stuff like that the day after the incident, but is a year ok? 2, 5, 10?

also how connected you are to the incident plays a roll. for instance if my parents died in the towers, i'd probably never find anything about those pictures funny for the rest of my life, not because they weren't funny.. just because it would always bring up the feelings i had that day.

as it stands i'm kind of disconnected from the whole incident, thus i can laugh about such jokes years later without a problem.
