Not necessarily. The OP says the villain plays good, knows we play good, and knows we know he plays good. OP also claims that he 3 bets lite.

Once the flop comes T high and we shove over him, with all the info given, I see the 2p2 calling the all in with hands like 88, 99, AT. Therefore I still think having the JJ is probably best.

No way a good 2p2er is calling with those hands. His calling range is sets and JJ+, maybe AK if he is frustrated.
