Then just go ahead and raise third to take control of the hand. If he is on a complete steal with something like
(49)A he will have to dump.

Too many funky things can happen on the turn to give him something to play.

If: Your plan is to raise 4th (assuming he blanks off, but anything over a 5 that hits him might pair him, so what exactly is a blank here?) Then what is the advantage to waiting till 4th?

Given the line you want to take, I'd pop 3rd.
