Default Downswing Pt 2 - Graph of today

Ok some of you may remember my previous post where I explained the simply insane number of bad beats I am expected to tolerate on a daily basis. Well I played through that bad patch and actually had a nice upswing where I actually won with my sets etc which took me back up to break even and restored my br to it's former glory.

Finally I thought, I can start building my br up to 1k and move up to NL50. How silly of me to naively believe my tangle of variance biatch slapping me in the face was over. Yesterday I won only 50% of my big pots and I was favourite in 90% of them.

Today I thought I would start keeping track of things. And it is the same. 50% OF MY BIG POTS I LOSE. Below is a graph of todays results. Every medium to big pot I lose where I am favourite up to river (and where they are not all ins I have made big bets to give opponents incorrect odds... I almost never slow play at NL25 fullring) I HAVE MARKED IN BLUE POTS I SHOULD HAVE WON. Every single big pot I won I did not suck out on people and that's fine because I don't play cards that way where suckouts are more than slightly likely, I'm just saying I wasn't lucky in those pots. The green vertical lines are pots where I admit I wasn't favourite and deserved to lose.

I don't see the point of giving hand histories for all but off the graph and a hand I just finished playing I had top two pair against an over aggro opponent. I put a chunky overbet on the flop and a big bet on the turn. By the river the board is AK610J I had AK and he raised me all in and I folded and he showed a Q6.

Every generic bad beat you can imagine not involving quads I have had in the last two weeks.

This can't keep going on.
