How do you wager on these parlays? Also, what does this mean?

DENVER -3.0 DENVER AT BUFFALO

So it means you picked Denver to win, I understand that, but what does the -3.0 mean, does it mean that Denver has to win by >3 points in order for you to win this specific pick?
