Default Re: Mid pair in unraised pot

I fold. We're probably behind at least one of our opponents and are getting poor odds to draw. Even when we're ahead CO often has a strong draw, and given that we're not closing the action we might face a 3-bet from UTG if he's excited about his hand.

I'm fine with the flop check. Kinda-TAGgy CO seems likely to bet frequently when checked to and his range after doing so probably includes enough PPs and draws (JQ/J9/Q9/etc) as well as A-high hands that I'm fine with planning to c/r if he opens. UTG also calls a lot and gives CO good odds to peel or pump his draw/find a free card raise. I fold if UTG bets and CO folds given your "somewhat passive" read (assuming you mean he's unlikely to bet 8x/2x/Q9/etc type hands... otherwise I'm going to have to think about at least calling). Should be ok to peel if UTG bets and CO calls getting 5.5:1 + implied with a probable 5-6 outs on average.
