Re: C-Bet Quiz
Here's how I see it
Hand 1 - no
pros: we have strong overcards
cons: two opponents make it more likely that at least one will call; likely flush draw or made flush that will get a call; we are OOP relative to button
cons outweigh pros
Hand 2 - yes
pros: strong overcards, hand is likely best at the moment; flop misses most broadway holdings; no flush draws
cons: possible straight draw for opponent; out of position; flop potentially hits opponent's range
pros outweigh cons
Hand 3 - Yes
pros: low flop likely misses opponent; we have strong overcards
cons: possible flush draw for opponent; we are oop
pros outweigh cons
Hand 4 - yes
pros: we have strong hand with good equity despite missing flop, we have position on both players, hand dominates other ace holdings that haven't paired
cons: multiple opponents, potential flush draws for opponent, opponent could be going for check raise with paired queen
pros outweigh cons
Hand 5 - yes
pros: paired boards good to bet as they are scary and unlikely to have hit opponent; QQ99 two pair is very strong hand with chance to improve to full house
cons: aggressive opponents might bluff raise representing a queen; decent opponent might not give you credit for anything either since you are unlikely to have a queen; possible flush draw for opponent
pros outweigh cons
Hand 6 - No
pros: two strong overcards
cons: we have no realistic draws, draws or made hands are very likely for one or more opponents (this flop hits a lot of hands hard), we are out of position
cons outweigh pros
Hand 7 - yes
pros: our hand is likely best at the moment, we are in position, hard for opponents to continue without a king, two undercards probably missed opponents
cons: king is in opponents' range, possible flush draw
pros outweigh cons
