variance -or let's call it swings- will always be there, even tho those swings in an infinite number of hands will equal out to an all over straight line. Taking a lot of flips and gambles will increase the frequency of those swings while a more pot controlling style will lower that frequency.. Variance is a concept where short/longer term luck dominates, and even tho it'll flatten out in an infinite perspective, infinite will still be a whole, of several short and longer periods containing swings (variance)....
