Re: What have you won in a contest before?
A few years ago I bought a scratch off lottery ticket the day before leaving for Florida for a week. After I scratched it off I thought I won $5. Woo Hoo.
The next morning while I was getting gas for the trip I decided to cash it in. I handed it to the girl working the register, she scanned it and then handed it back to me saying "I can't cash this. You have to take it to the main lottery office." I asked her why she couldn't cash a $5 ticket and she kind of started to laugh. She looked at me and said "Uhh, it's not a $5 ticket, you won $5k." I haven't won anything over $10 since. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
Obviously I had a good start to my vacation.
