Re: Lair: Another PS3 letdown?
Count me in as unsurprised. I got duped by high reviews into getting Rogue Squadron at the Gamecube launch and experienced the same annoying [censored] people are complaining about this time. Spotty controls + not knowing wtf I'm supposed to be doing = no fun.
The PS3 really is on the ropes if not dead in the water. I'm not excited for a single one of the games Tycho brings up in the PS3's defense. Ratchet maybe, but come on, they're looking at Halo 3 and Mass Effect and Super Smash and Mario Galaxy this holiday season. Sony is going to get absolutely slaughtered unless Heavenly Sword starts getting Bioshock type reviews or they pull GOW 3 out of their ass. And that may not be enough.
Also, Dire, just admit your hyperbole was ridiculous, if you want to maintain any credibility. Even if you discount Play mag Lair will be a mediocre game.
