Pf call is obv standard.

I think a flop call is better IMO. He's only raising 7% of the time, maybe even less b/c he's UTG, so his range is real strong. The argument for raising to protect your hand from AK or AQ improving is silly b/c both hands only have 6 outs and are about 12% to improve on the turn.

Basically, would you raise with 98 on this flop against this player, b/c your hand is about as strong as 98 against his range. If I smooth called the flop, I would fold if he fired the turn again and bet 2/3 pot if checked to.

As played, check behind the turn. One of the problems with your flop raise is you didn't define his hand. You basically min-raised and set it up so he might call with AK, and you have no additional info. It's murky whether your hand is good or not and you will generally only get money in the pot when you're behind. This is a perfect example of reverse implied odds.

On the river, you're clearly beat and it's an easy fold.
