August sucked. I can't handle the swings, and I don't think I'm a very good player. Tried to improve my game at $50NL, and it was a tilted nightmare. Freaking 6bi up and down swings in 1500 hands. Made $200 playing $50NL when I would have made $600 playing 25NL. I can't get it together, so starting at hand 9,000 I moved down to $25NL with a 100 bi roll (WTF!). I'm transitioning from weaktight 14/10 multitabling nit and opening my game up. I'm actually really comfortable doing that at $25NL. Last 1k hands have been 22/18/3.3 and winning at a hugely unsustainable winrate. I think I'll try to play more this month (20K or so hands) with the more open style. Hopefully I don't run into huge swings, and can make a better run at $50NL in Oct. I'll be happy with anything over 6ptbb at $25NL, but I predict 9+ptbb 2-4 tabling is possible if I don't tilt too hard.
