What was the villain's fold to c-bet %? If it was over 65% then I don't like the turn call one bit. On a board that dry he's rarely floating you with worse than an ace with those kind of stats. That's why you c-betted so small wasn't it - so it would cost you less to find out if you were beat? If it was less than ~65% firing again 'may' be an option.Relatively passive players like him will usually bet again if they bet once I've found.
Firing again on the turn is an option against habitual floaters but I don't think he calls that often with 76/43 etc with only a redraw. He certainly doesn't bet the turn with those either. I don't think you see 44-66/88-TT often enough to justify either firing again or calling a (value?) bet.

Getting value towned by loose passives sucks hard, especially when you're giving off such major weak-tight vibes that he thinks his "small" value bets are clever.
