I have a similar sleep pattern at the moment. I've changed it a few times and its really not hard. Going to sleep earlier to change it really doesn't work since its impossible to go to sleep 6 hours before you normally do. Just go to bed slightly earlier the first time you have work. Go to work (you're going to be knackered obviously) but just tough it out. Go home go to sleep when you feel tired and go to work again the next day. Only takes me a couple of days doing this to change my sleep pattern to whatever I want.
