If all you're going to do is play poker and surf go to any of the big box stores; Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. and get a machine there. You can probably avoid the top of the line name brand and get the 2nd best one. If you want to be a little future proof you can look at the "gaming" machines, which are going to be more expensive but will probably come with a video card that will let you dual monitor out of the box.

You will pay more than if you get a Dell, but you'll get it immediatly and the differences probably aren't going to be enough to make up for the increase in the hassle factor of ordering it online. However you end up getting one make sure it has 2 gigs of memory.
