Mercs are notoriously [censored] quality nowadays and reliability is at an all time low in the history of the company.

My dad has had a beemer for a while without problems, theyre supposed to be really good quality and reliable.

Audi is owned by VW, which is owned by Ford if memory serves. So quality is probably pretty close to the blue oval.

Generally Japanese>German>American. But there is lots of overlap depending on what you look for in comparison charts.
