AK plays better against fewer opponents, so I think that the question of preferring 1 or 2 opponents in a raised pot is an easy one. If you're getting way too much respect you'll need to open up your range a bit. Throw in ocassional raises and go to showdown with some of the hands mentioned by others in this thread.
