my thoughts are this is a bad idea. im only replying from lurking, not first hand experience. poker games in the carib are very limited. what if you get stuck somewhere where you dont like the games, rakes, stakes, structures, etc? only 2/3 of the involved will be happy.
if sun, heat,beaches and fun are prerequisites, try san diego. the nearest ones are 30 miles away but atleast you have choices.
