Default Canadian poker - LMAO

OK - Canadians are absolutely the worst players I have ever played against. I live in Seattle and went to visit my old home game buddy who moved close to the border. He told me about the casino's in Canada and I just didn't believe how bad he was saying it was. We went to Cascades Casino in Langley, Canada and it was VERY bad. We sat down in a 1/2 NL game and each bought in for 200. These guys were making a standard raise of $15-20 and usually it was $20. I played very tight becuz they were so loose and reckless (they noticed this and even commented on my play) yet when I came in for a raise - 4-5 callers every time. I made $430 in about 5 hrs of play. Idiots calling all their chips with idiot end of the str8, top pair 6 kicker, calling raises with garbage, middle pair, bottom pair, calling on the river with busted draws??? I had a guy call me with K high on the river - i guess he put me on Q high. Stacked a guy who called on the river with four to the flush - I had the ace - He had an 8!! All his chips for an 8 high flush...

Played the $60 tourney the next day and it was worse. Hats, sunglasses, and ipods were the norm not the exception. Took fourth after a bad beat for $150.

If you live in the NW please make a trip up north to either Cascades or River Rock - both very soft and too easy to beat. And yes - they are worse than the Vegas 1/2 games which I have played at almost all the casinos on various trips.

Side note - Canadians are very cordial and extremely nice - just horrible at poker - I see why Booth went bust.
