annie duke,

I sat next to Annie Duke at the WSOP for a while this year and can confirm that she did not stink.

She was ugly, greasy and bad at poker, but she did not smell bad.

Like Phil Hellmuth, she does awfully well for someone who's supposedly bad.

Annie's results the last 2 years in MTT's:
01-Jul-07 United States $ 10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha
38th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2007, Las Vegas 17th $ 28,040
21-Jun-07 United States $ 5,000 World Championship Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better
38th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2007, Las Vegas 13th $ 15,134
Jun-07 United States $ 20,000 Week 13 - Queens and Kings
Poker After Dark II, Las Vegas 5th
03-Jun-07 United States $ 2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better
38th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2007, Las Vegas 3rd $ 75,210
01-Jan-07 United States $ 20,000 Week 1
Poker After Dark, Las Vegas 3rd
28-Jul-06 United States $ 10,000 No Limit Texas Hold'em - World Championship Event
37th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2006, Las Vegas 88th $ 51,129
24-Jul-06 United States $ 1,000 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo
37th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2006, Las Vegas 33rd $ 2,868
29-Jan-06 United States No Limit Hold'em Invitational
W Las Vegas Poker Invitational, Park City 4th
27-Jun-05 United States $ 5,000 Limit Hold'em
36th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2005, Las Vegas 4th $ 88,500

I'm thinking that wouldn't cover the buyins, if she even paid them.

FWIW, I think Annie is a good player, but more at limit than NL and PL. I base this opinion on VERY limited info, so you can take it to heart.
