true garbage should still be deleted. it's the posts that enough people think have merit (even if they don't) that go here.
it actually should provide a useful training ground for those too impatient to read the stickies before posting.
it will also give those people who feel they are targeted unfairly to prove that the posts which would have been locked or deleted really should not have been discarded.
presumably, in those cases the threads will be rescued from the "trash".
