THE Kurosh is not "retired from poker".

I showed up at a local home game tourney over the weekend - and there he was sitting next to me. I told all the young kids that Kurosh was a famous online and 2+2 celeb. They didn't understand.

Side bets were being discussed on the tourney results and I offered to bet on Kurosh to win, but refused to take him in a last longer bet. They didn't understand that either, but Kurosh sure did.

Kurosh eventually bubbled in the tourney. Then he went over to a couple of guys playing online and gave bad advice.

One funny story from the tourney. Kurosh is sitting next to the dealer who is a very pretty gal with her new puppy on her lap. Kurosh is petting the puppy (on her lap) while she is dealing. I tell the old story about Dyan Cannon on the Johnny Carson show. No one knew who either of them were.

Kurosh seemed calm and relaxed after his Las Vegas adventures this summer. Now --- if we can just lure him to Tunica in January.
