I don't see how a stop+go is better than pushing preflop here. The *only* time we have any FE on the flop is if villain whiffed, and in that case we want him to call anyway. With a stop+go, all of our chips are going in no matter what, while 1000 of villains chips are only going in if he's ahead on the flop. On the other hand, pushing preflop makes sure all of his chips get in no matter what as well.
